The books are great journals but I was expecting more info about the parks themselves, at least where they are located and what amenities they have
Each page has plenty room for writing about my camping experience. Looking through the book has expanded my camping experience. I've learned about many camping locations. There are questions about how what when and who. Activities and amenities. I added the map of the camp ground.
I was unhappy to see that the 2023 edition came out just after my purchase. Had I known, I would have waited. Other than that, love the book. Candace
Looking forward to using this manual finding campgrounds and their amenities
I was really hoping there was information about each park, and that these were available 40 + years ago. We have already been to so many parks that we'll never get back to and it's hard to remember when we went and who with before. These books would be great for young families or couples just starting out traveling and exploring.
Very nicely made. Gives enough room to write down notes and put in details about each State Park. All the State Parks are in alphabetical order, so easy to find each page. I really like this book. It's very organized and it's exactly what I needed.
Excellent journal for keeping track of my trip travels. Just wish there was a little bit more of a description of each site.
Went to the Redwoods!
It would have been nice to have a picture of each location mentioned in the book. Then you would have an idea of what to expect to see.
Looks great. Hoping to share it with family and visit many of the places!
Everyone was happy and excited to get these books, they all said it was a unique gift and look they forward to using the books in the future.
If you travel and go to state parks you need this! It’s a must! We got it for our daughter and her boyfriend and they absolutely love it!
I giving it as a Christmas gift, never opened it, but it looks pretty from the outside !
We are giving this as a gift for Christmas to friends who are buying a new motor home and will retire soon. So I currently do not know how to rate this. I am hearing that it is more than most guides so will see if they like it.
My husband is having a blast logging our trips.
I loved the ones for Maine and New Hampshire (where I live) so much that I bought Oregon for family there. The format is fun and makes planning easy. They were very excited to start adventuring!
I paid 15.00 extra for expediated shipping, and it still took about 10 days. I was not thrilled with that.
Corner of my cover was bent upon arrival, a bit of a bummer. I like the book but should have read a bit deeper into the description - thought is was going to be more like a guide book with little descriptions of the parks… but that’s on me. Great product!
We just love our book and we are currently planning our trips for the summer we are thrilled with this book
We love our book and have already planned our first trip.
Bought these for my mother and mother in law last year! So two copies and we all love them so much that we HAVE to get other states!!
All of the books I've purchased were gifts, to families, my children, and grandchildren! They love the pictures, the writing spaces, and the future explorations and adventures ahead!!!
Planning trips with my Son and family when it gets warmer . 75 yrs in Oregon and so much to see . Thanks for showing me so many new places to go . I Love Oregon .
I really like the book. I love having a map and list of all these places to visit in my home state. My kids are all very young, so I'm excited to take them to all these places and fill up the pages over the years. The reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is because it's missing a couple things. On the website it says in the book's description that it has Oregon State parks AND forests, but it doesn't actually have any of the state forests. We have six state forests: Clatsop, Elliott, Gilchrist, Santiam, Sun Pass, and Tillamook State Forests, and none of them are in there. I also wish that the book had some blank pages in the back like many of the other books have so I could write in some of my own places. The state sometimes adds new state parks/areas, so it would be nice to be able to write those in too when that happens. It's already a pretty big book, so maybe that's why these things were trimmed out? I was just a little disappointed that it didn't have the state forests when the description said it did. Other than that, I really love it.
This is an item that requires some time of use before a proper evaluation can be made. Talk to me next year after I have had time to evaluate the value of this journal. First impression? It is much larger than I expected.
I love the book and we plan on visiting more parks this year.
My fiance and I love our new adventure book, we are using it to plan day hikes and trips for the summer.
It was a Christmas present for my daughter. It was on her Christmas list. She seemed excited to get it. Hope so!
I bought this as a Christmas present for my brother-in-law and his wife who are huge nature lovers. They absolutely loved it and can't wait to utilize it for all their future trips!
This book was on my daughters Christmas list. She is a major planner and writes a weekly plan, so thai book was perfect for her
Wonderful planner and excited to start my adventures!
I gave the book to an avid hiking friend, and she seemed to like it. We will find out if she uses it as time goes on.
My husband was so happy to receive this as a Christmas present. Thank you.
It was a Christmas gift to my youngest daughter. She loved it!!
Ordered Oregon for my husband and I and Washington just for him. These are well put together and very thorough. Love them!

We haven't been able to go anywhere yet because of weather and the holidays, but will use this travelogue to plan trips for Spring, Summer and late Fall. We're looking forward to seeing the out-of-the-way places!
Great book for travels but wish it had more pictures.
I'm eager to gift this to a family member who lives in Oregon.
I really like the resource and its opportunity to document our plans and impressions. One suggestion is to organize the parks and sites by alphabetically by region in the state rather than alphabetically for the entire state.
I bought Oregon and California. These books will last me for years. I am pleased with my experience. This will be the way I track all of my trips.
